Whole Foods Market in Manhasset Selects Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington
As the “Shop For Charity Day” Organization on Wednesday, April 7
Port Washington area residents and businesses can fulfill their shopping needs and give back to the community on Wednesday, April 7th, which has been designated “5% Day” to benefit Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington (Residents).
During regular store hours, Whole Foods Market at Manhasset, located on the corner of Northern Blvd. and Port Washington Blvd. will donate five percent of its post–tax sales that day to Residents.
Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington is a non-profit organization which implements programs and initiatives that focuses on the environmental health of Port Washington and enhances the quality of life in the community.
According to Karen Greene, marketing team leader at Whole Foods Market, “Residents for A More Beautiful Port Washington is a hard working and effective community group that has had a positive impact on the community of our customers. We’re pleased to be able to help support this organization and encourage our shoppers to mark their calendars for an April 7th shopping spree.”
